- 2 cups (480 milliliters) well-shaken whole or low-fat buttermilk
Directions:
- Preparation: Position an oven rack in the middle and preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C). Place the butter in a 9-inch baking dish or cast-iron skillet and let it melt in the preheating oven. Ensure it doesn’t burn.
